Ditch the Default: Craft Your Own Salesforce Domain with My Domain
Tired of the generic my.salesforce.com URL? Elevate your brand presence and user experience with a custom domain! Salesforce's My Domain feature lets you create a subdomain personalized for your organization.
Ready to take control? Here's how it works:
Step 1: Find Your Perfect Domain
- Navigate to Setup and type "domain" in the Quick Find box.
- Enter your desired domain name and click Check Availability.
- If available, great! Move on to registration. Otherwise, get creative and try another name.
Step 2: Secure Your Domain
- Review and accept the Terms and Conditions.
- Click Register Domain. Sit back and relax – it takes a few minutes for your domain to be ready.
Step 3: Welcome to Your New Home!
- Once registered, click Click here to login within the My Domain section.
- Experience the magic of logging in with your custom URL (e.g., https://yourdomain.my.salesforce.com: https://yourdomain.my.salesforce.com).
Step 4: Deploy Your Domain
Deploy the domain to users by clicking on “Deploy to users” button.
Tip: Customize your login page and email branding to further enhance your brand identity.
New sandboxes?
- Salesforce automatically assigns your custom domain to new sandboxes, using the format
https://mydomain--your_sandbox_name.your_instance.my.salesforce.com
.
