Excluding Test Sends from Email Campaign Reports in Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Preview and Test: 

To exclude test sends from your reports for Preview and Test sends in SFMC, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the email send flow for your campaign.
  2. In the email send flow, locate the "Options" tab.
  3. Check the "Suppress from send reports" checkbox.
  4. Save your changes.


Automation Email Sends: 

If you're using automation for your email test sends, follow these steps to exclude test sends from your reports:
  1. Open Automation Studio in SFMC.
  2. Locate the email send activity associated with your automation.
  3. In the email send activity, find the "Tracking" section.
  4. Select "Exclude test sends from reports" from the drop-down menu.
  5. Save your changes.


Journey Email Send:

For journey email sends, use the following steps to exclude test sends from your reports:
  1. Open Journey Builder in SFMC.
  2. Find the email activity within your journey.
  3. In the email activity, check the "Suppress Test Sends" box.
  4. Save your changes.
